Home Celebration Details

This event is an open house—come and go as you please.

Here are just a few things you’ll be able to do at this family-friendly event:

  • Explore the Minnesota Children's Museum's exhibits and craft area
  • Kids can vote on which playground equipment will be installed at our new development, The Heights
  • Connect with homeowners, volunteers, sponsors, staff, and other organizations who support Habitat's mission
  • A buffet-style dinner will be available throughout the evening - eat whenever works for you
  • Enjoy a special parting gift from Twin Cities Habitat

Why Home Celebrations?

Home Celebrations are intended to celebrate the community that comes together to create affordable, stable homeownership.

The house is the collective achievement of the Habitat community—homebuyers, Habitat, staff, board members, friends/family of homebuyers, volunteers, sponsors, donors, neighbors, community members, and elected officials.

These events provide a fun and engaging opportunity to welcome our new homebuyers to the wider Habitat for Humanity community!
