Hard Hat & Black Tie FAQs
Are you ready for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity's first in-person Gala in two years?! Our Hard Hat & Black Tie Gala is coming up on Saturday,...
The Hard Hat & Black Tie Gala will be here in less than two months! On Saturday, April 23, join us in person at The Depot – Minneapolis for our biggest night of the year!
This year, our annual event will be emceed by local comedian, speaker, and host extraordinaire Miss Shannan Paul. At The Depot you’ll enjoy fabulous auctions, an inspiring program, a splendid dinner, and a rocking After Party with dancing and music by Free & Easy Band. It’s a night you won’t want to miss – so make sure to tell your friends and family about it, too!
If you can’t make it in person, you can sign up to attend our free virtual event to bid on silent auction items and enjoy the program from the comfort of your home.
By attending the Gala, you’ll unlock the transformational power of home for your neighbors. You'll help us hit our Gala goal of $1 million, which will change lives across the Twin Cities.
During the dinner program, you’ll see the story of Habitat homeowner Deborah Copeland, whose home has provided a strong foundation and a space where friends and family can gather and feel loved and appreciated. Five generations of her family have seen the benefits of her Habitat home, and Deborah has made several updates over the years, preparing to pass this home on to the next generation.
This year’s Live Auction will be full of great items, like a week in Hawaii, a jersey signed by Kirk Cousins, and more! Keep an eye out for our upcoming Live Auction preview blog.
*In-person registration closes on April 13, so be sure to get your tickets now.
Start putting together your best construction couture ensemble and get ready for the gala that’s a little less formal, and a lot more fun!
Safety is always our top priority at Habitat. All in-person attendees must be fully vaccinated or test negative for COVID-19 within 48 hours of the event.
