Costa Rica 2015 | Team #2

Well, at least some of us are. This weekend, while main office staff are busy with packing and moving into our new building at 1954 University Ave, three staff members will be leading a group of volunteers on a Global Village trip to Costa Rica.
During their Global Village experience, this group of volunteers will work alongside Habitat for Humanity Costa Rica to help build safe, decent, and affordable homes for Costa Rican families. They will be performing finish work on two houses that will have been started by this week’s groups. Trip participants will be mixing/hauling concrete for floors, waterproofing walls, plastering, and painting. Be sure to like Twin Cities Habitat on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to see photos shared by trip participants!
A second volunteer group from Twin Cities Habitat will be traveling and volunteering in mid-March. Although both trips are full at this time, you can always send an email to globalvillage@tchabitat.org to be contacted when we begin recruiting for future trips!
