New Prague ALCO Donates To refreshed Habitat ReStore

The Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore in New Brighton recently got a big refresh makeover and now tons of new products are coming in for savvy shoppers.

Alco new Prague hardware store donation 4.16.13 resized 600One ReStore donor, New Prague’s ALCO store, provided the ReStore with a particularly generous donation. The ALCO donation was ideal for the ReStore, because the wide mix of never used products included some of the ReStore’s most popular products including tools, paint and hardware.

Products at the ReStore are often 50% - 70% off retail prices due in large part to ReStore donors. 100% of the stores proceeds support Habitat's mission.

ReStore manager Pete O’Keefe said “The truckload of material from ALCO was a godsend, allowing us to restock exactly at the time that our foot traffic was ramping up due to a TV segment about the Restore. We had just completed installing new shelving after a remodel and I was starting to worry that the taller shelves would start to look bare.”

Donations are tax deductible and 100% of proceeds support Habitat’s mission. Our low prices offers community members a valuable tool to preserve affordable homeownership. Plus, you’ll be keeping good, reusable materials in use and out of landfills. Feel free to drop donations off at our ReStore location or schedule a pick-up today!Click me
