Habitat Homeowners Connecting with their Communities
Roughly 50-60 hardworking, deserving families move into Habitat homes each year. But what happens after they tackle the big move?
On February 20th, with a large snowstorm on its way, Habitat's main office staff banded together to complete office move tasks one day ahead of schedule. Over the weekend, a team of dedicated volunteers and staff worked diligently to get things up and running at the new building on Prior and University Avenue. On February 24th, staff arrived at the new Twin Cities headquarters, and proceeded to make it our new home. Here are a few pictures taken over the move-out/move-in weekend!
Of course, some of us may miss our "little friends" from our old building...
...but we did enjoy some of the new friends we made on move-in day.
