Resolve to Volunteer in 2015!
It's the beginning of the New Year and many people are making resolutions to start the year off with a bang! Some of the most common resolutions...
If you're reading this post and are one of the millions (or even billions!) of people that made a New Year's resolution - that you've already given up on - don't fret. You're not alone.
Research suggests that only 8% of people that set out with resolutions each year actually complete them. Why do they fail? For some, it's a lack of accountability. For others, the goal isn't realistic. And there definitely those that don't set up a plan for success.
So while it's nice to know that you're not alone in experiencing a #resolutionfail, we don't know a ton of people who actually feel good about "failure." That's why, we've come up with "Take 5. Give10." - a new resolution you can make TODAY that's quick, easy, and really makes a difference.
"Take 5 minutes to sign up for a volunteer opportunity in 2015. Then, Give $10 to support Habitat's work in the Twin Cities."
Not so good about staying accountable? Don't worry! We'll send you reminders and opportunities to help you keep your resolution, as well as news on how your actions are making a difference for local families.
If you want to get a jump start on steps #2 and #3, feel free to explore our volunteer opportunities and make a gift today!
Your gift unlocks bright futures! Donate now to create, preserve, and promote affordable homeownership in the Twin Cities.
