It’s the third week of construction for this new build in Brooklyn Park. Despite the ominous clouds overhead, site supervisor Chard Formo remains optimistic about this week’s project: roofing. With the roof already framed in and sheathed over the garage, today the volunteers from Thrivent are setting trusses for the rest of the roof. Weather pending, Chad expects it to be ready for the roofers to come out next week. Also on the agenda next week is wrapping the house and putting up siding. Once utilities get roughed in, the focus will shift inward for insulation.
