It's been a big year at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Really big.

Your generosity helped Twin Cities Habitat reach extraordinary new heights in homeownership, innovation, support, and beyond.

From starting construction on our largest development ever, to growing our groundbreaking Advancing Black Homeownership Program, to forging innovative new partnerships—your impact is profound.

You are showing what's possible when we build forward together to create a community where everyone has access to the transformational power of home.

Thank you.

Read on to see all the new heights made possible by your generous support from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.

"You’ve made Twin Cities Habitat into a global leader in racial equity and innovative building strategies, and I hope you’re proud of all we’ve accomplished together."

Nash Shaikh, Chair, Board of Directors, and Chris Coleman, President & CEO

The power of home

Homeownership is powerful. Transformational. Angela, who recently bought her home through Habitat's Advancing Black Homeownership Program, is starting to feel it. Kenisha, who bought her Habitat home in 2012, has seen over a decade of transformation in her family. This is their story—made possible by you.

Bridgette-33
“When I got my keys and went home for the first time, all I could say was ‘Thank you, God.’ My grandmother is gone, and I lost my mother in 2018, but I still feel them. Their homes were warm. Even when I put away my dishes, I move like them. I think like them. They made me the person I am to this day. I love that. And now I can pass that on to my grandson.”

— Bridgette, Habitat homeowner since June 2024 through Habitat's new Advancing Black Homeownership Program

Edgar at Volunteer and Learn
“Every time we go and volunteer on site, it was my goal to understand from the Site Supervisors. They always answer my questions. That’s an experience I liked to complete with Habitat. Even after we bought the house, I volunteered a lot for years to learn more.”

— Edgar, Habitat homeowner since 2010 who still regularly volunteers through Habitat's new Volunteer and Learn program
